Swedetown’s Season Opener ski race will take place Saturday, December 7, 2024 (snow permitting, of course). This is a self-supported 7.5km freestyle race (30-second interval starts). The first skier goes off at 10:00 am. The overall top three male and female in each of three age groups will receive prizes (0-29 years; 30-54 years; 55+ years). No advance registration necessary.

The race is sponsored by the Swedetown Trails Club and Studio 13. There is a $20 suggested donation to help pay for early-season grooming. Contact Craig Hughes for more information (906-281-1755) and watch the Facebook event page for updates.
