Chalet Expansion and Accessibility Project
Swedetown Trails Club and Calumet Township are on the way to a major renovation and expansion of the Swedetown Chalet. The public areas will be on one level and we will add gathering space outdoors.
The State of Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund has committed $400,000 to this project and there are a number of other grants in the works. We welcome any donations to make this project a reality in 2026.
Giving Tuesday 2025
Thank you to our generous supporters who donated during the 2025 Copper Shores Giving Tuesday campaign. These donations are getting us much closer to being able to start the much-needed Chalet expansion.
Future Projects
The Swedetown Trails Club continuously improves the ski and mountain bike trails to make inviting trails for all skill levels. We appreciate all our dedicated volunteers and donors.
