Swedetown Recreation Area has a beautiful Chalet. In all seasons, the lower level is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. with restrooms, a changing room, a water-bottle filling fountain and a seating area. 

During the winter season, the upper level concession, lounge, and membership sales window is open daily thanks to our volunteer chalet hosts.

Ski, snowshoe, and snow bike trails all start near the chalet. There is also a family sledding hill, fun for all ages.

Time for an upgrade? There is a proposal to expand and improve the Chalet to serve the community for the next forty years. Ideally the community lounge would be on one level with accessible restrooms.
