Support the trails you enjoy that make this a great place to live by purchasing a season membership in the Swedetown Trails Club (STC). Swedetown offers 20 miles of single track summer trails and in winter, 26K of superbly groomed ski trails. Your membership also supports the Swedetown Chalet with restrooms, drinking water fountain, a lounge area and plowed parking in winter.

ALL trails – STC (Swedetown) membership for one adult is $100. STC membership for two adults from the same household is $150. Thank you for supporting the trails and winter grooming with your membership! No cost for youth membership (18 and under).

Day visit – One day ALL summer trails membership is $5. One day ALL winter trails membership is $10. For one day memberships, please pay by cash or check in one of the red self-pay pipes at the Chalet trailhead. Or Pay on-line.

Special membership options – For summer trail season membership – $20 for individuals and $30 for two adults from same household. For winter narrow trails only – $20 for individuals and $30 for two adults from same household. Narrow trails include all the snow bike trails, snowshoe trails, back country ungroomed ski trails and multi-use trails off Woodland Road (but not the 26K of wide ski trails groomed daily for skating and striding).

Trail memberships may be purchased at Michigan Tech ticket office (Houghton), Cross Country Sports (Calumet), Downwind Sports (Houghton), Hancock Bike Shop or on-line at www.KeweenawTrails.com. Three other nearby trail systems cooperate with Swedetown to offer discounts on combined season memberships – MTU Recreational Trails, Maasto Hiihto/Churning Rapids in Hancock and Chassell Classic Trails. The Swedetown Recreation Area is owned by Calumet Township. The development and maintenance of trails is supported by memberships and donations. ON-LINE DONATION.
